We’re pleased to share the latest updates to our platform, introducing valuable new features and improvements to both our Mobile Apps (v4.20) and Admin Dashboard (v2.4.0). Here’s what’s new and improved:

Introducing the Community Module

Our new Community module, powered by Stream, brings chat and forum capabilities directly into your app. This is the first step toward enabling user-generated content (UGC) and fostering deeper engagement among your members. The module supports one-on-one chats, group chats, and channels. To activate this feature, please contact 2Way for account setup and moderation options.

Email Fallback for Push Notifications

Never miss an important update! With our new Email Fallback feature, if a push notification fails to reach a member’s app, the notification will be delivered via email. You can now choose between sending only a push notification or including an email fallback, ensuring your messages always get through. The notification panel has also been updated with more delivery options for greater flexibility.

EASA FTL Calculator

We’ve developed a user-friendly Flight Time Limit (FTL) calculator for members in the EASA region. This tool helps assess flight time and duty limits, with future updates planned for roster import, additional rule sets, and CLA integration.

Mobile App Improvements

• Notification Settings Screen: Members can now customize push and email notification preferences.
• Better Text Wrapping: Improved display for long words, especially in languages like German and Icelandic.
• Destination Hotel Reporting: Admins can enable multiple report types for easier issue reporting.
• Surveys in Activity Feed: Closed surveys remain visible, showing their status and results.
• Third-Party Library Updates: Ensures compliance with the latest Apple and Google requirements.

Admin Dashboard Enhancements

• Notification Panel: A dedicated panel for scheduling and managing push notifications, including the new fallback feature.
• Email Templates: Redesigned for a consistent look and feel, helping recipients recognize trusted emails from <client>@2way.is.
• List Subgroups: New columns in the Members module and Manage/Member Groups for better subgroup management.
• Survey Reminder Push: Now only sends reminders to members who haven’t participated yet.
